I wrote simple tcp udp c# proxy using sockets, only 120 lines of code, its redirects connection from localhost to somewhere and display all data that was sended / received( like packet sniffer).

I understand that the code knows what was requested but it doesn't open it in the browser ..

I believe you could call it TCP Forwarding since you are not really taking the resource requested by the user into consideration. But it's a nice demo.
I wrote similar thing (with different purposes) here:
